DEAL, Georgina Elizabeth “Georgie” age 95, Windsor, formerly of Belmont, Hants County passed away in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, on January 20, 2015. Born in Avondale, she was the daughter of the late John and Henrietta (O’Toole) Benedict. She enjoyed the simple things in life, her cats, flowers, nature and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family. She is survived by sister-in-law Blanche Cochrane and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie V. “Jiggs” Deal, brothers Earl, Charles, Clifford, Irving and Robert; sisters Elsie Julian, Louise Julian, Lavinia “Viney” Harvie, Hazel Bosko and Helen Deal. There was no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Funeral service was held on January 23, in South Rawdon Baptist Church, Rev. Alex Mosher officiating. Interment followed in the South Rawdon United Church Cemetery.
