We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to family and friends for their support and kindness during our recent loss.

A special thank you to Marilyn Avery who gave so much of her time to prepare and conduct the funeral service and also the organist, Betty Pike. As well, a sincere thank you to the staff at Fillatre’s Funeral Home for your kindness and compassion.

Thank you to family and friends who comforted and supported us during the visitations and the funeral service and to everyone who sent cards, on-line condolences, flowers and food or made donations to the Western Memorial Hospital Foundation.

We would especially like to thank all of the Staff on 4 South at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility for their kindness and care of our mother. She was one the original residents who transferred to the new facility when it opened. She loved her room with the view of the Bay and happily called it home. She had great affection for Glenda, who encouraged her to paint and be her right-hand with baking and gardening and Brian, her pet rock collector and fitness guru.

A special thank you to great friends at the Westmount Club who stepped up to the plate, without hesitation, to provide food for the reception following the service and the Club for the use of their facility. Friends are very important and are always there when you face difficult times. Again, our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. It isn’t possible to thank everyone individually, but please know that your kindness did not go unnoticed and will be remembered. Thank you.
