HINES, STANWOOD REGINALD – It is with heavy hearts, the family of Stan R. Hines, husband of the late Mary (Adams) Hines, announce his passing which occurred on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John on September 12, 1945 he was a son of the late Ada (Forgey) and Reginald Hines. Stan was a true family man, and family always came first in his heart. He loved cars, and as a point of pride, always kept his in pristine condition. His favourite was his red 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible. He enjoyed living in the country with the calm of nature, and his view of the Saint John river. He will be missed by his sons Brandon Hines (Stacey) and Mark Hines (Vicki); grandchildren Hayley, Rachel, Jeremy, Daniel and Owen; a sister Pam Iliffe (Rick); a brother Keith Hines; his beloved poodle Bailey as well as many extended relatives and friends.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A celebration of Stan’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
