John Gordon (Jack) Feltham

Passed on: January 20th, 2015

A scholar, gentleman, judge of fine whiskey and a fit companion to all of his friends. Died suddenly on January 20th, five days before his ninety-first birthday. Predeceased by his wife Norma (Rideout) in 2012, parents Arthur and Margaret Feltham, brothers Boyd and David, and sister, Dorothy Glover. Left with many loving memories are his daughter Jackie (John Austin), son Geoff (Judi McNeil), granddaughter Margaret, sisters Shirley Davis and Evelyn (Carley) Thorbjorsen of New York. He will be sorely missed by his four devoted canine friends and two little pussy cats. He qualified as a teacher completing a B.A. from Mount Allison in 1950, and an M.A. from Memorial in 1959. He taught in Musgravetown, Little Bay Islands, and Buchans, Corner Brook and St. John's (P.W.C.), and retired as principal of Macpherson Junior High School in 1980.
