Dennis passed away Sunday Morning January 18, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. He was a kind and gentle person. He was known around town by his beautiful demeanor and his long curley hair that he had for most of his life. Dennis was a giver he would give his time and his loving spirit to his family and others for whatever they needed. And if we lived ten lifetimes we could never give what he gave to us in his time on earth. Many of his happiest times came when he was doing things for his family and other people. Although he was self-employed his greatest gift was a care giver. He looked after his Father for 3 years as he battled with cancer, later he looked after his Mother 10 years as she was so disabled. He did everything he could for them and never complained. Mom was the love of his life and he loved her dearly and wanted to go to heaven to be with her. Dennis leaves behind his wonderful sister Theresa, his brother Charles, his niece Lisa (Michael) and her loving daughter Emily. Dennis knew what he was dying from when and where, at what time and who would be there. It all came true. Although he has left us behind with great sadness and a hole in our hearts and souls that can never be filled. God has taken him home to be with Mom, where he truly wanted to be. There will be no visitation and a service will be held at Patten Funeral Home Chapel at a later date. Donations in his memory can be sent to the Cancer Society. Thank You.
