Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, January 22, 2015, John Christopher Kennedy, age 70 years. Predeceased by his parents: Clayton and Lillian Kennedy; sister Nancy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Pearleen (nee Hann); two sons: Johnathan (Cathy) and Douglas (Dawn); three grandsons: Noah, Cassius and Jackson; four adopted grandchildren: Heather, Hailey, Riley and Brady; brothers: Jacob, Charles (Judy), George (Pansy), Gary (Judy); sisters: Elizabeth Noble (David), Nellie Strowbridge (Clarence), Carolann Bartlett (Bill); brothers-in-law: Alick Hann, Robert Hann (Marjorie) and William Hann (Alice); sisters-in-law: Tess, Elsie Jarvis (Freeman); also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 7-9pm on Saturday and then from 2pm-9pm on Sunday. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
