Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home in Clarke's Beach surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 23, 2015 Luke Terry in his 90th year of Harbour Main. Predeceased by his wife Margaret April 23, 2014 of 62 years, parents, William & Catherine Terry, brothers: Ronald & William, sisters: Julia & Veronica (James Costello), grandchildren: Tanya, Ashley & Andy, sister in-law Maggie. Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Ronald (Betty Lu), Lukie (Susan), (twins) Madonna, Madeline (predeceased by son-in-law, Brian Power), Cathy (Glen Reid), Peggy (Wayne), Charlie (Judy), David (Anne), Christine (Ernie), Linda (Phil), Felix, Debbie (Glenn), Sharon (Paddy), Phillip (Cheryl), Jackie (Mark), 36 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brother Michael, sister in-law Lillian, his furry friend Katie and a large circle of extended family and friends, especially the staff at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke's Beach. Luke spent seventeen years of service with the Department of Highways in Newfoundland & Labrador. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Sunday & Monday from 2 pm - 4 pm. & 7 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:30 am from SS. Peter & Paul Church, Harbour Main. Internment to follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Harbour Main. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to the Parkinsons Society or a charity of ones choice.
