Passed away on Sunday, January 25th, 2015, Bridget Power age 92. Bride was one of eighteen children born to Peter and Lucy (Hartigan) Tobin. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1986 and her son Jim in 2002. Leaving to mourn her passing are her sons Bob (Bernice), Gerry (Bernadette), Brian (Marilyn), and daughter Regina (Sean) Quilty. Also leaving to mourn her twelve grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, her nephews and nieces in the Peczka, Bagnoche and Dunleavy families in the US. The family would like to thank the staff of Agnes Pratt Home, Pratt Place, for their care and kindness to Bride these past few years. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador in the name of Bride's first and surviving great-grandchild and namesake Hannah Bridget Power.
