LYNK, Ronald Victor “Papa”– 69, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born March 3, 1945 in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Gordon and Bernice (Messom) Lynk. Ronald worked as a fisherman, having also worked aboard the Prince of Fundy, as well as aboard the Golf Gird. He loved hunting, fishing and building things. He is survived by his common-law wife, Gwen Phillips, as well as by his children, Scott (Denise) Phillips, Yarmouth; Kim (Jimmie) Allen, Sandford; Jody (Curtis) Pyne, Hebron; Dana (Susan) Phillips, Chegoggin; Ronnie (Kim) Lynk, South Ohio; Jason (Tara) Phillips, Arcadia; grandchildren, Jennifer, Cassidy, Matt, Jamie, Dawn, Shelby, Curtis, Jessica, Josh, Christopher, Adam and Shane; great grandchildren, Wyatt Lynk-Whitehouse, Sabrina, Julie, Tanner, Kylee, Korban, Kyron, Connor, Robert, Clara, Easton, Ellie, Ever, Christopher; brothers and sisters, Roy (Sharon) Lynk, Medford; Midge Phillips, Kentville; Clarence (Debbie) Lynk, Port Williams; Murray (Chrissy) Lynk, Kingsport; Barbara Goodyear, Eastern Passage; Grace (Gary) Sherman, Canning; Bobby (Maryann) Lynk, Kingsport; Joe Lynk, Kentville. He will also be missed by his beloved dog, Klunker. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn “Sweetie” Phillips; brothers, Lawrence and David Lynk. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., Friday, January 30, both at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Pastor Larry Pennell officiated. It was requested that there be family flowers only.
