ASCROFT, MARLENE
Marlene Ascroft, 78, died peacefully at McNair Manor in Riverview on December 30, 2014.
Marlene was born in Emerson, New Brunswick in 1936. She was a graduate of the Moncton Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. She was a nurse at the Moncton Hospital for 40 years, primarily in the surgery and x-ray departments.
Marlene was pre-deceased by her husband, Lester, in 1967.
She is survived by her daughters, Leigh Ann (Julius) Csabai of Baie D'Urfe, Quebec and Tina Jones (Mark) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Marlene had four grandchildren: Caroline, Patrick, Eric, and Stephen.
The family would like to thank Marlene's lifelong "Dogpatch", her Louisville neighbors, and the tremendous staff at McNair Manor for all of their care and support over the years.
