ANDERSON, JOYCE ANNE
Joyce Anne Anderson passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
Born on June 5, 1936 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Genevieve O’Hara and the wife of the late George Anderson. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Joyce’s first passion in life was for her children and grandchildren; she was a wonderful mother and was active in their lives. She loved spending time with her family and friends and attending family functions and sporting events. Joyce also had a passion for music and dancing. She touched the lives of everyone she knew.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Donna Anderson-Breau (Peter) and Velvet Anderson (Jamie); sons, Tony Anderson (Rachael) and Kevin Anderson all of Stanley, NB; grandchildren, Karmen Anderson (Jodi), Darcy Anderson (Lacey), Colin McAloon, Shelby McAloon (Jamie) and Baylee Anderson; sister, Pat O’Hara (John) of Killarney Road, NB; many nieces and nephews; several cousins, and special friend, Gary Craig.
Besides her parents and husband, Joyce was predeceased by her brother, Roy O’Hara.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery at a later date.
