It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard (Dick) Cole. After a long and courageous battle with brain cancer, he passed peacefully away in his 64th year at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his mother Violet Thorne, and his brother Raymond Cole. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 28 years, Florence Tucker; daughters Leah (John), Stephanie (Donnie); stepchildren Nancy ( Kevin), Rodger; brothers Dave ( Barb), Robert (Sadie); sisters Millie (Clarence), Linda (Keith), Carol (Jim); grandchildren Devon, Emily, Sierra, Noah, and Cody, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 7 West at St Clare's for the exceptional care they provided during this most difficult time. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 10 am-9 pm at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Rd. Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10 am in Carnell's Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
