Nellie (Arbuckle) Dinnebier

We regret to announce the passing of our Aunt Nellie, age 91, in Calgary, Alberta, on Jan. 16, 2015, only six weeks after the passing of her elder sister, Rosa Morford (our mother), of Donkin.
Nellie came to Canada as a warbride, and lived in Donkin with her husband, George Arbuckle, and their children until 1959, when they moved to Calgary. Nellie was a gifted violinist and a great knitter, who enjoyed sharing her talents in her church and community.
She is survived by her children, Valerie, Carol and Glen, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her sister Joy in England, and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.K.
She was predeceased by her son Scott, her husbands, George Arbuckle and Tony Dinnebier, and her sisters, Alice, Doris, and Rosa.
Memorial service was held on Jan. 28 in Cochrane, Alta.
