SPROUL, EDITH ESTELLA
It is with sadness that the Kirkpatrick family announces the death of Stella (Kirkpatrick) Sproul, which occurred on Thursday, January 29th, 2015, at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home.

Stella was born on August 1st, 1924 in Upper Golden Grove, a daughter of the late James and Mary Jane Kirkpatrick. She was the wife of the late Roy Sproul of Loch Lomond. Stella retired from CAA after 35 years as the Office Manager for Member Services for the Maritimes, and she was a member of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church. Her favourite project in her retirement was the restoration of St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Golden Grove. Stella loved her family, and enjoyed a good game of cards. Bingo was also a favourite pastime of hers.

Stella is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many more great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Stella was pre-deceased by her brothers James (Maxine) Kirkpatrick, Edgar (Jean) Marr, and her great niece, Estelle Lyn Trail.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Andrew’s Cemetery at a later date.
