Clark, Robert (Bob) Brian 81 – It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our loving family member on January 29, 2015 in the loving arms of his granddaughter Tara Lewis with his little dog DeeDee by his side at home in Lower Sackville NS.

Born in Hillandale NB he was the son of the late John and Madeline (White) Clark. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1950 and served until he retired in 1975. After which he tried his hand at a few other jobs. After the Navy he drove a taxi for Lou’s/Satellite taxi in Sackville, NS. for about a year. He then went to work for Scott’s Brothers in NB building houses for about two years. Robert’s last job was working for the province of NB., on the Gondola Point Ferry until he finally retired.
Robert worked hard his entire life, He loved to hunt, fish and garden. He kept growing his gardens to the point that he eventually started selling his vegetables to local markets for resale.

He is survived by his Children Brenda Hobson (Steve) Sackville, NS., Carolyn Courneya (Danny) Rothesay, NB, Pam Ehler (Brian) Elmsdale, NS and Robert John Clark (Judy) Rawdon, NS. He is also survived by his step children Greg Forbes (Cindy) Halifax, NS. and Gary Forbes (Judy) Saint John, NB; his only sister Doris Sleep of Quispamsis NB, his brothers Jack Clark (Yvonne) of Sussex, NB, Stephen Clark (Margo) of Quispamsis, NB., his sister in law Faye Clark of Kingston, NB. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents John and Madeline, he was also predeceased by his wife Janice Clark (Ayer) and three brothers Jerald, Peter and Keith all of NB.

We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to his Granddaughter Tara Lewis, her spouse Tony and children Keagan and Kennedy, who have lovingly taken their Grandfather into their home and took special care of him for the past three years when he was no longer able to care for himself. Cremation has taken place.
