LeBlanc, Reginald J.; The death of Reg LeBlanc, age 82, of Bible Hill occurred at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit Truro, on Sunday, February 1, 2015, after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Port Elgin NB, he was a son of the late William and Yvonne (Brine) LeBlanc. His great passion was harness racing. Reg is survived by his wife, Wendy (Forbes), of 30 years; sons, Darren, Halifax; Christopher (Crystal), Bible Hill; granddaughter, Diane LeBlanc; sister, Pauline Lacourse, Ashton ON; brothers, Jack (Doris), Bill (Carol), Ulysse (May), all of Truro; Thaddee (Linda), Moncton NB; many nieces and nephews; also very close family friend, Judy Prodger. He was predeceased by sister, Marina; brother, James. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service per Reg’s wishes. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in Reg’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit or the SPCA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro.
