DeMINGS Anthony (Tony) “Grandpa Tony”
Suddenly in Ottawa, on Friday, January 30, 2015, age 68. Beloved husband of Joyce Findlay. Devoted father of Sarah. Cherished and proud grandpa of Xander and Haleigh. Dearly missed brother-in-law of Dorothy Kyle (the late Ralph Horner). Predeceased by his sister Mary Hagar and will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Art Hagar as well as many cousins, neighbors and friends in Nova Scotia. Sadly missed by his coffee buddies at Timmies and the parents, players and coaches of the baseball community whom he so proudly supported. Tony worked for the CBC for 30 years as well as the Ottawa Sun. A service to celebrate Tony’s life was held in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel on Saturday, February 7.
