With deep sorrow we announce the passing our beautiful mother, Mary Elizabeth Nardocchio on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
She was born in Big Pond, the daughter of the late Neil and Rene (MacNeil) MacNeil.
Mary was admired by her many friends and family for her patience, strength and gentle spirit. She loved to laugh, travel and spend time with the people she was closest to.
Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Nardocchio; her son Duane Nardocchio (Lisa) and daughter, Angela MacDonald (Greg). She leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Amado, Adia, Maura and Neilie. Mary is survived by her loving siblings, always by her side, Rose Anne, Malcolm (Ruth), Cathy (Don), Neil (Elizabeth), Anne and Clem. She leaves behind her wonderful nieces and nephews and their children.
She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Rita MacNeil; two brothers-in-law, David Coffin and Gerald White and nephew, Shawn MacNeil.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating.
