Anne Blanchard

BLANCHARD, ELIZABETH ANNE
1932 - 2015
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Anne (Doll) Blanchard, 82, on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at The Briarlea Home in Moncton. Born on November 14, 1932 in Harcourt, she was the daughter of the late Norval and Mae (Petley) Bryant.
Ann lived in the Hamilton area for most of her adult life where she enjoyed a long and meaningful work relationship with Proctor and Gamble. However, summer vacations were spent at the family cottage in Pointe-du-Chêne where large numbers of family members and friends enjoyed her hospitality. Upon retirement, she followed the sun each winter to Largo Florida where she spent many enjoyable hours with her Canadian and American friends. Anne was energetic, involved in her community and a passionately proud Canadian.
She is survived by her daughter Carla, West Virginia, US; her son John David (Marie) and granddaughter Rachel, Stoney Creek, ON; brother Jim, Toronto, ON; brother Vic (Beth), Calgary, AB; brother-in-law John Ermen, Moncton, and a number of nieces, nephews and valued friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Blanchard (1983); sisters: Bertha Arsenault, Reta Spencer and Jennie Ermen; brothers: Tom, Bob, Jack, Mack and Louis.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Friday from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. A reception will follow at the centre.
In memory of Anne, a contribution to the YWCA of Moncton would be appreciated. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
