Kennedy, Keith Alan- Bible Hill
We sadly announce the passing of Keith Alan Kennedy (63), of Bible Hill, originally Middle Stewiacke, Nova Scotia. Keith slipped away while surrounded by family February 4, 2015 in the Intensive Care Unit of the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Survived by his loving and caring wife of 41 years, Lynne (Tomlinson); mother, Shirley Kennedy Sponagle, Bible Hill; sister, Ella (Robert) Mingo, Tatamagouche; son, Ryan, Edmonton; daughter, Carrie, Bible Hill; grandsons, Karome and Stephen; brother-in-law, Barry (Wanda) Tomlinson, Noel, as well as loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and stepfamily. Predeceased by his father, Aubrey Keith; stepfather, Edward Sponagle and niece, Janette Mingo. Keith will always be remembered for his loving smile and gentle laugh. He always had a witty joke and funny story to keep everyone around him smiling. He was an inspiration for everyone who knew him, and left a deep impression on each of them. He showed us that anything truly is possible with some grit and determination.
Keith loved to dance and was once a member of the John Fisher Male Choir. He was involved in the Scout and 4-H programs first as a member, later as a leader. He was a long-time member of the Maritime Simmental Association where he met and inspired many more people. In his later life he enjoyed his gardening. He could often be found visiting residents of Vimy Court. He attended card parties, VON Adult Day and was a member of the Peoples Church where he was part of many Church Activities. Many thanks to all the home care workers who helped care for Keith over the last few years, making his life as comfortable as possible; as well as the ICU nurses for their amazing care while he lived out his final days.
