It is with great sadness and heavy Hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a loving husband, father, and friend. Rex (Rick-Pixie) Alexander Elms Jr. (also known as Pixie) Passed on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015, at his family residence in Reidville, NL, at the young age of 55 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his soul mate and love of his life his wife Colleen, his children whom he cherished and adored his daughter Amber Lee and son Andrew; his siblings, sisters Beverly (Owen) Pittman, Barbara, brother Gary (Annie); mother and father-in-law Kay and Milton Serrick, sisters-in-law Marilyn Serrick, and Debbie (Brad) Easton; brothers-in-law Guy (Maureen) Serrick of Meadows and Cyril (Judy) Serrick of Mississauga, as well a large number of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, other relatives, extended family & friends. Rex was predeceased by his mother Effie and father Rex Elms Sr. The family will be receiving family and friends on Friday, February 6th, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL. A Memorial service to Celebrate Rex's life will take place on Saturday, February, 7th, 2015, at 2 pm at St. Paul's, United Church in Deer Lake, NL, with Rev: Myles Vardy officiating.
