CORMIER, RITA
1922 - 2015
Rita Cormier, 92, of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, February 5th, 2015, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Exelda (née: Goguen) Gauvin.

Mrs. Cormier had worked at Sears, she was a member of Saint-Anselme parish.

She is survived by one daughter, Claudette (Donald) Babineau of Moncton; two sons: Raymond “Jeff” (Lucille) and Robert, both of Dieppe; one sister, Stella (late Ron) Snyder of Moncton; three brothers: Zoel (Maureen) Gauvin of Moncton, Paul (Annette) Gauvin and Alcide (Nicole) Gauvin, both of Ottawa, ON; four grandchildren: Brian, Nicole, Julie and Deny; five great grandchildren: Bianca, Dominic, Logan, Sasha and Coralie, as well as the several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Marcelin “Marcel” in 2004 and also by one granddaughter, Janice.
By request, no visitation at the funeral home.

A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Monday, February 9th, 2015 at 2 pm.

Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
