It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of Kevin Gould on January, 28, 2015, in Toronto.
Born in Toronto, Ontario on July 6,1968, he was the son of Mae (MacLeod) Gould, Sydney and the late Joseph Gould.
Kevin enjoyed his frequent visits to Cape Breton, spending time with his family and friends. His passions in life were tattooing, drawing and fishing. He had a love for motorcycles, cars and his mom's home cooked meals. Kevin was also very proud of his time spent at the Enaahtig Healing Lodge in Ontario with his mentors and friends.
Besides his mother Mae, Kevin is survived by his daughter, his pride and joy, Samantha 'Sammy Joe' (Doug Marshall) and his precious granddaughter, Marlee Jade Gould; brothers, Steven Gould and Lawrence Gould, both of Red Deer, Alberta; his grandmother, Rita Gould. He is also survived by niece, Jade Gould; nephews, Levi and Austin Gould; his best friend and mother of his daughter, Lisa Rhymes; special friend, Caroline Haight, Ontario; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his father Joseph, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Annie and Eddie MacLeod and Jim Gould.
"You never said I'm leaving, you never said goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why?"
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb 8, 2015 at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 12-2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
