Jim passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his parents: Calvin and Dorothy (nee LeDrew); his parents-in-law Joseph and Eveleyn Dillon. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 45 years Sharon; his children: Tracey (Paddy Burke), Tammy (Sean Murphy), Tara (Steven Keats) and James; his precious grandchildren who brought him so much joy: Joshua and Abaigeal Murphy, Jack and Clara Burke, Samuel Keats; his brother Paul and wife Carole of New-Wes-Valley, NL and his sister Jocelyn and John of New Hampshire, USA and their families; his sisters and brothers-in-law: Frances, Madonna, Angela, Catherine, Joe, John, Peter, Mike, Paul and their families. As per Jim's request cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 10 am - 9 pm Monday. Funeral service to be held at Barrett's Chapel on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. There will be no interment at this time. Donations in his memory may be made to The War Amps.
