George A. Hunt, 84, of Sydney, passed away at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015.
Born in Sydney, son of the late James and Dolena (MacDonald) Hunt. He was the last member of his immediate family, and he retired from the Sydney Steel Corporation Coke Ovens Department.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Williams) of 64 years; two daughters, Margaret (Billy) Morrison, Anna (Jimmy) Heins; five sons, Ronald (Diane), Michael (Dawn Michelle), Donald (Jacqueline), Russell (Connie), Gordon; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Florence, and two brothers, Jamie and Rannie.
