Jack Fairhurst, 73, passed peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Friday evening, Feb. 6, 2015, surrounded by family. Left to remember him, beloved wife Linda, his two sons Dean and Darren (Jennifer), his brother Theodore (Rosanna) and his five precious grandchildren, Olivia, Syklar, Cooper, Blake and Allie. Jack took great pleasure working as a golf course superintendent for over 44 years. He was a legend in his field: "He could grow grass on pavement.” Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown, for visiting hours on Monday, Feb. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Unit or to the Children’s Wish Foundation P.E.I.
