It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Elsie MacIntyre on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015.
Born in Northumberland, England, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Maddison) MacIsaac.
Sharon was employed with National Sea Products until retirement. She enjoyed being a member of the Sydney Pensioner’s Club, Club 55 and volunteering with the St. James Church Ladies Aid.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Charles; son, James, Catalone; daughter, Colleen (John) Donovan, N.B.; sister, Anne Marie (the late Don) Wadden, N.B.; brothers, Roderick (Betty) and John, Sydney; stepbrothers and stepsister, Audrey, Clyde, Don, Bill, Bob and Jim; grandchild, Courtney Donovan; nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her brother, Andre; sister, Alexandra and stepmother, Mary (Inkpen).
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel today (Tuesday) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday 11 a.m., with Mr. Gary Grant officiating. Interment at a later date in Loch End Cemetery.
