Geneva Johnson 88, of Bouctouche passed away at her home on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Boucher and late Zelma (Allain) Boucher.
Geneva will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Nora Babineau (Rene) of Rexton, Eva Martin (Gilles) of West Minster, MASS, Camilla Johnson (Jean-Pierre) of Saint Louis de Kent, Denise Richard (Donald) of Rexton, Angela Daigle (Guy) of Ottawa; seven sons, Ed Johnson (Rose) of West Minster, MASS, Leon Johnson of Galloway, Camille Johnson of Toronto, Jerry Johnson of Jardineville, Linus Johnson (Anita) of Acadieville, Rony Johnson (Nicole) of Aldouane, Guy Johnson (Calgary); forty-two grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Cecile Allain and two brothers, Aquila Boucher and Bernard Boucher.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard Johnson, two daughters, Stella Theriault (Daniel), infant Alphonsine Johnson, one son, Paul Johnson, three brothers, Adelin, Leon, Henry and two sisters, Marie and Valeda.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm, Thursday at noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be held in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
