SMITH, LILLIAN MARGARET
Mrs. Lillian Margaret Smith of Sussex passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on February 12, 2015 at the age of 91. Born in England on October 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ada (Mills) Southgate and was the wife of the late Everett Smith who passed away in 1987.

Lillian Margaret is survived by her daughter, Joy Brown and her husband Donald of Apohaqui; her sons Stephen Smith, Gerald Smith , Randy Smith, Paul Smith and his wife Debbie, all of Sussex; daughter-in-law Darlene Buchanan of Sussex; her sisters, Doris Cargille of England and her twin sister, Rose Connell of England; grandchildren, Crystal Gray (Pat), Misty Roose, Melissa Roose, Matthew Brown, Lucas Brown, Joy Buchanan and Jeremy Smith, Geb McLaughlin, David Wark (Charity) and Doug Wark (Paulette); great grandchildren: Michaela, Marcus, Sydney, Jackson, Brett. Willow, Andrea, Michael, Rikki, Luke, Parker, Jaxson, Joseph, Maverick and Reid; special friend Veronica as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lillian was predeceased by her daughter, Starr L. Smith, her son Roger Smith; her brothers, Alf Southgate and Ernie Southgate and by her three sisters, Kit Moodie, Ada Hennessey and Francis Nicholson and her special friend Rudy Koppel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

A service celebrating Lillian’s life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm followed by an opportunity to speak with the family in the Wallace Reception Area.
