PORTER, JANE ELIZABETH
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jane Elizabeth (Foote) Porter which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Thursday, February 12th, 2015 with her family by her side. Born 1942, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Mike and Sue (Lawrence) Foote. Jane worked for the DVA Hospital as well as the Saint John Regional Hospital for many years before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed camping at Pleasant Lake, travelling and she loved music.

Jane is survived by her loving husband Lloyd Porter of 42 years; sons Robert Poirier, Edgar Poirier (Karen) of Moncton, Joe Poirier of Saint John; daughters Debbie Poirier and Anne-Marie Poirier of Saint John; step-sons Robert Porter and Lloyd Porter (Leah) of Saint John; step-daughters Diane Roy (Late Roger Reid) and Roberta Johnson of Paris, ON; brothers Edward Foote of Ontario and Robert Foote of Florida; grandchildren Joseph, Raymond and Melissa Toole, Cheyenne Poirier and Colby and Kyle; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by her brother James Foote.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, February 16th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 17th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
