Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on February 14, 2015, Mary Whalen, (nee Flemming) age 70. Predeceased by her parents: Augustus Flemming & Mary Thorne, brothers: Tommy, Richie, & Jimmy; her sister: Margaret and grandson: little Ricky Whalen. Leaving to mourn her spouse of 50 years on February 6, 2015, Mike Whalen; her children: Gerard (Christine), Rick (Patricia), Barry (Kim), Denise Shute (Dean), Juanita, & Sharon; grandchildren: Christopher, Melissa, Chad, Amy, Brad, Samantha, Tony, Brandon, Tyler, Joshua, Dylan, Tyrone, Jennifer, Kevin, Jayden, Makayla; great grandchildren: Hailey, Nathan & Peyton; sister: Katie Roche; brother in law Joe Whalen & sister in law Ethel Comford and a large circle of family & friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from Caul's Chapel at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
