McKIEL, ROBERT "BRUCE"
Robert "Bruce" Mckiel passed away at the Campbellton Nursing Home on Thursday, February 12th at the age of 75. Bruce was born in Campbellton, N.B. in May 1939.
He was a Carpenter by trade and a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces; he enjoyed woodworking and visits from his Grandchildren.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Judy, of 52 years. They were married in Tide Head on December 15th, 1962. Bruce is lovingly remembered by his son, Michael and his wife Cindy of Brampton, ON, son, Rodney and his wife Janet of Riverview, N.B., grandchildren, Melissa, Steven, Andrew and Branden. He was also lovingly remembered by his brother, Bill (Joyce) and his sisters, Daisy (John) and Barb (Norm).
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Daisy and siblings, Bud, Joe and Sandra.
A graveside service will take place for Bruce in the spring at the Glen Levit United Church, on Evergreen Rd. in Glen Levit. Date will be announced at a future time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Glen Levit United Church.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
