DRISCOLL, LORRAINE (WOODS)
April 26, 1931 - February 15, 2015
It is with deep sadness that the family of Lorraine (Woods) Driscoll announces her passing on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Salisbury, N.B. Lorraine was 83 years of age.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Lorraine was born on April 26, 1931 in Parry Sound, Ontario, and was the daughter of the late Evelyn (Fletcher) and Gerald Woods.
Lorraine loved to bake, especially enjoyed being around her family, babies and her friends.
Lorraine will be sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Don Driscoll; sons, Ron (Vara) Driscoll, Steven Driscoll and Gerry (Natalie) Driscoll; daughters, Linda MacLeod (David McAllister) and Sandy (Todd) Greening; seven grandchildren, Heather, Sherri, Caleb, Devin, Danielle, Lucas ad Michael and by five great-grandchildren, Brooke, Andrew, Connor, Cohen and Carson.
Besides her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her daughter, Marion Driscoll as well as by her son, Billy Driscoll.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. Cremation has taken place and visiting hours will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will take place at Campbell’s Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2 pm with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the Sackville Cemetery.
