Passed peacefully away while in the presence of his loving family and friends at the Health Science Centre, St. John's, on Monday, February 16, 2015, Thomas J. Corcoran, of Coote's Pond, St. Mary's Bay, aged 86 years. Predeceased by parents James and Lucy Ann Corcoran; sisters: Gert Pine, Marion Corcoran, Mary Hickey and Josephine Mandville and brothers Ray Corcoran and Jim Corcoran. Leaving to mourn loving wife Anna; daughters Sandy, Lucille (Luke) and sons Randy (Maureen), Tommy; grandchildren: Cory, Colin, Chris, Thomas, Jennifer, Adam, Lucas, Kyle, Amanda, Holly and Samantha, great-grandchildren; sisters: Jeanette Jones, Kay Achong and Cecelia (Aiden) Bowen and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Tuesday, February 17, from 7 - 9 pm, Wednesday, February 18, 10 am - 4 pm; 7 - 9 pm. Visitation on Thursday will be for family only beginning at 11 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 1 pm, at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Riverhead. Burial to follow at Riverhead. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
