Michel Babineau, 20, of Résidence Acadie, Saint-Antoine and formerly of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Dr Georges L Dumont HUC, Moncton on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Léonard and Maria (LeBlanc) Babineau.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Maria Babineau of Bouctouche and Léonard (Dyan Daigle) Babineau of Notre-Dame, his maternal grandfather Omer LeBlanc of Bouctouche, his paternal grandmother Hermine Babineau of Saint-Antoine, several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Cléola LeBlanc and his paternal grandfather Edgar Babineau.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
