Passed peacefully away on 18 February, 2015. Born in Placentia, NL on 6 June 1926 and predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Christopher Joseph in July 2005; parents, Reginald and Mary; sisters Molly, Margaret, Mary, Noella and Adelaide; brothers, Edward, Alexander, Joseph, Reginald, Eugene, and Austin. Leaving to mourn are her six children, daughters, Anne (Richard) Lacoste, Aylesford, NS, Deborah (Mike Lewis), Middleton, NS, Michelle (Scott) Ellison, Bowmanville, ON, Karen (Derek) Janes, Deer Lake, Hethyr, Toronto, ON, and son Christopher (Lenora), Doha, Qatar; grandchildren, Dana (Karla) Lacoste, San Diego, CA, and Chad Lacoste, Greenwood, NS, Sarah (Rob) Grant, Halifax, NS, Jessica (Yuuki) Sato, BC, and Ryan, Kendra, and Tim Ellison, Bowmanville, ON; two great-grandchildren, Kian Wyatt, San Diego, and Itsuki, BC; sister Rose Mullins, and brothers, Raymond (Tish), and William (Loretta), Placentia; sisters-in-law Mary Fleming, ON, Anne, Corner Brook and Theresa, St John's; also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Lemarchant Rd. Visitation Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 21, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society NL Division, or the Canadian Diabetes Association of St. John's.
