DUFOUR, ALBERT

In the arms of his loved ones, our Dad has died in Saint John, NB on February 15th, 2015. He was the son of late Dollard Dufour and late Cecile Ouellet of Saint-Andre-de-Restigouche, QC.
Left to grieve him are the mother of his children, Hectorine LeBlanc of Quebec City, his children Lynn (Wayne) Chatterton, Saint-John, NB, Denise (Wayne) Gillespie, Clyde River, PE, Gerald Dufour (Lise Morel) as well as Odette Dufour of Quebec City; his son-in-law, Lucien Levesque McLeods Siding, NB, his daughters-in-law, Shelley Smith, Ontario and Marie Chiasson, Quebec. He is also survived by his sisters, Alice ( late Norbert Savoie) Campbellton, NB, Simone (late Jean-Claude Kelly) and Carmen (late Bernard Loubert), Montreal, QC; his sisters-in-law, Marie-Anne Pelletier, Montreal, QC, Marielle Johnson, Duberger, QC, Therese and Lyne (Gilles Clermont) LeBlanc, Montreal, QC, Tina Lamoureux, Ottawa, ON and Augusta Allain, Montreal, QC; his brothers-in-law, Leonard LeBlanc (Louisette), Levis, QC, Albert LeBlanc, Maria, QC, Raynald (Faye) LeBlanc, Montreal, QC, as well as cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his children, Leon, Pierre-Marie and Jacynthe, as well as by his parents, his siblings, Cecile, Leo-Paul, Sylvio, Raymond, Ghislain and babies Simone and Raymond.
His life will be celebrated in his native village of Saint-Andre-de-Restigouche, Quebec on July 4th, 2015 from 9am (local Quebec time) for condolences, followed by his funeral at 10am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to “Cercle des Fermieres de Saint-Andre-de-Restigouche”, 163 Rue Principale, Saint-Andre-de-Restigouche, QC, G0J 2G0 would be appreciated.
The family is eternally grateful to the Saint John Extra-Mural doctor & nurses who helped Lynn and Wayne in providing him home care, allowing him to die at home as per his wishes, under the loving supervision of Nurse Chris Higgins.
