Margaret Adams

ADAMS, MARGARET LAURA
1945 - 2015
Margaret L. (Shaughnessy) Adams, loving wife of Rodney F. Adams, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sherbrooke, QC she is the daughter of the late Ashley and Rita (Spry) Shaughnessy.

Marg worked for over 50 years as a hairdresser for various locations, even travelling to Germany on one occasion for continuing education. Later in her career, a set-back in her health made it challenging for her to work full-time. She was such a kind and compassionate woman. She would do anything for anyone. She adored her backyard birds and rarely left the house without binoculars and her bird book in hand. She had a passion for her cats and her flower gardens and Marg loved to fish, something she and her father did when she was young and that love of fishing helped inspire some great fishing adventures with her husband Rod. Marg loved to go visiting and they have especially fond memories of Leon and Marilyn’s camp where they picked many of blueberries over the years.

Marg will be missed dearly by her husband of 46 years, Rodney, her daughter Karen Clark (Shawn); son Shawn (Tracy); grandsons Brady and Noah, whom she loved so very much. They were the light in her eye. She also leaves behind, her special friends Marilyn and Jane and several extended family members and friends.

Arrangements under the professional direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) where visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Visiting will begin at 10 am followed by the funeral at 12 noon. A time of light refreshment will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery Columbarium.

Remembrances in memory of Marg made to Bobby’s Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family. To sign the guestbook or to place an on-line condolence, please visit www.fundyfuneralhome.com
