DUFFLEY, ROBERT "LOU" LOUIS
The death of Robert "Lou" Duffley, husband of the late Leona (McGuire) Duffley occurred on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Ridgewood Veteran's Wing.

Born in Quispamsis, NB on February 14, 1920, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary Ellen (McLaughlin) Duffley.

Lou served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. He then was a production manager with Nortel for several years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Hammond River Angling Association, St. Patrick's Society, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #58, Probus, R.U.S.I. and the Canadian Historical Aviation Association. Robert enjoyed salmon angling, gardening and reading.

Survived by his sons, Michael (Phyllis) of Woodstock, NB, Richard "Dick" (Marianne) of Vancouver Island, NB, Norman (Linda) of Sweetwater, NS, and Kevin Duffley, brother George "Jim" (Rita) of Quispamsis, sister Rita Duffley of Saint John, grandchildren; Ryan Duffley (Rachel), Erin DeLong (Darren), Michelle Schuh (Mike), and Erik Duffley, great-grandchildren, Lidam Duffley, Rori-Kate DeLong, and Emily Schuh, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, Lou was predeceased by his brothers, Norman and Edmund.

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Royal Canadian Legion Tribute service will take place Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment to take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery at a later date.
