SAVOIE-ALBERT, JEANNINE
Jeannine Savoie-Albert, 61, of Moncton, passed away on Friday February 20, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on February 19, 1954 in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of the late Valmont and Aldéa (LeClair) Savoie.
She was a health service counsellor at MCRI prior to her retirement in 2012.
Jeannine had a love of life, her humour, faith and presence among family and friends will never be forgotten.
She will be sadly missed by three children: René and Alain, both of Fredericton and Darren Stewart of Moncton; eight sisters: Rita Landry (Yvon) of Val D’Amour, Melita Latham and Irène Shephard, both of Woodstock, Dorothée Savoie, Raymonde Thériault (Charles) and Linda Coulombe (Roger), all of Campbellton, Doreen Savoie of Carleton and Doris Stewart (Art) of Nunavut; one brother, Michel of Campbellton along with several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Yvon Albert; two brothers: Ronald and Edmond.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday, February 24th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Wednesday, February 25th at 11am. Interment will be in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery in Campbellton.
In memory of Jeannine, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Tree of Hope) would be appreciated.
