Madeline Louise Bishop, 72, of Sydney, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Chesley and Florence (Head) Barrett.
Madeline is survived by her daughter Edwina (Gordie) Bishop, Halifax, son Doug, Elmsdale, sisters, Judy MacKay, Sydney, Brenda (Tom) Pitman, Sydney, Gail (Donnie) Hillier, Sydney, Ruth (Kenny) Ranni, Halifax, Laura (Harvey) Pennell, Moncton, brother Terry (Carolann) Barrett, N.L., seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son Robbie and a brother Marvin.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
