Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with her son and grand-niece, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 of Evelyn Blanche MacLeod, R.N. and veteran of Second World War, of Charlottetown, age 99 years.
Wife of the late Roderick MacLeod. Daughter of the late Mary and William MacRae, she was also predeceased by her grandson, Michael Richard MacLeod, and her daughter-in-law, Gertrude “Trudie” Elaine (Muschkat) MacLeod. Survived by her four children, Rae (Nancy) MacLeod of Montreal, QC, Ruth (Ian) MacLeod of Perth, Western Australia, Kenneth MacLeod of Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Douglas (Beth) MacLeod of Ottawa, ON. Grandmother of Carolyn, Robert, Kirsteen, Sarah, Shona and Timothy. Great-grandmother of Zachary, Eli, Ronja and Grayson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Aunt to several nieces and nephews, and remembered fondly by cousins and close friends.
Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Thursday from St. James Presbyterian Church (The Kirk) at 11 a.m. Interment later in Sherwood Cemetery.
