McCANN, CECELIA
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Cecelia McCann on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB at the age of 103.
She is survived by her three children, Katherine Little (the late James Little), David McCann (Betty) and Peggy Landry (Roger). She was predeceased by her husband, Tom; her three sisters, Irene, Mary and Dorothy and her grandson, Paul Landry.
Cecelia was born in Grand Falls, NB on November 22, 1911. She was a member of St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church for many years as well as a member of the CWL and Marathon Bridge Club. Celie showed a keen interest in current affairs, and in particular the activities of her children and grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at 12:05 pm with Fr. Shawn Daly as celebrant. A reception will be held in the church following the mass. Interment will take place at a later date in Grand Falls.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Cecelia may be made to the Fredericton Food Bank or Chalice.
