It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Matthias Snook of Flat Bay announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the age of 65 years. He will be forever loved, missed, and remembered by his wife Jacqueline (nee: White), sons: Trevor (Misty), Trenton (Heather), Shane; precious grandchildren: Hailey, Toni, Dylan and baby-to-be; brothers: Gerard, Clyde; sisters: Marriet Pye, Viola Snook; an abundance of nieces and nephews, all of whom he was very close to, as well as other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Clara (nee: Molloy) & George Snook; brothers: John, George, Danny and sister Mary Oliver. Visitation will take place at St. Anne's Chapel, Flat Bay on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. from where the funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 25, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Interment will follow the mass in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Flat Bay. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House.
