Passed peacefully away at his residence in Chamberlains Robert F. Porter, in his 77th year. Predeceased by his father Alan; wife Lily; sister Millie Bickford; brother Edward; and sister-in-law Hazel. Leaving to cherish his memories are his mother Marie (Marion); sister Doris Butler(Stan); brothers: Hayward, Dave (Patsy), Raymond (Hazel), Gerald (Christine); sister-in-law Daphne; brother-in-law James Bickford; aunt Doris Short; uncle James Fowler; special friends Clifford and Effie Fowler, Angela and Charles Butler, Chris and Karen Fowler; members of the Fowler family; nieces, nephews and numerous other family members and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and on Wednesday. Funeral Service to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
