Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the Health Sciences Center on Monday, February 23rd, 2015, Dorcas Smith of Norman's Cove, aged 96 years. Predeceased by husband, Malcolm, parents; Levi and Rhoda Temple, son, John, son in-law, Fred White, baby grand daughter, Rebecca, as well as her brother, sisters, sisters in-law, and brothers in-law. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories to celebrate her life with thanksgiving are; three sons: Llew (Lorraine), Hartley (Lorraine), Tony (Terri), three daughters: Carrie White, Ann (Bun) King, and Una (Ted) Smith, daughter in-law, Mary Smith, sixteen grandchildren and their families, eighteen great grandchildren and their families, two great great grandchildren, as well as a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Bethel United Church, Norman's Cove, with visitation on Wednesday, February 25th, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm 5:00 pm, and 7:00 pm ?- 9:00 pm, and Thursday, February 26th, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be held from Bethel United Church, Norman's Cove, on Thursday, February 26th, at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Bethel United Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations in Dorcas' memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Bethel United Church memorial fund.
