We, the family of the late Donnie MacKinnon, who passed away on December 10, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to those who shared in our sorrow and loss. To our families who travelled to be with us during this very difficult time, words cannot express our gratitude. To the 911 responders, thank you for your compassion and professionalism. To the pallbearers, nephews; Chris, Mark, Scott, Michael, Scott and cousin John, thank you. To the readers, sisters; Mary and Agnes, intentions, niece Karen, thank you. Offertory, Bhreagh and Kaitlyn, Papa would have been very proud. Thank you to Father Duaine Devereaux, the choir and Bereavement Committee of Our Lady of Fatima and to the ladies who provided the lunch. Thank you to all who attended Donnie’s wake and funeral; sent emails, cards, on-line condolences, expressions of sympathy and prayers, memorials, flowers and food to our homes. Your kindness and support brought comfort and was very much appreciated. Thanks also to Bill and the staff of T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel for your guidance and professionalism.
Donnie, “Dad”, “Papa”, was deeply loved and will be forever missed. We will cherish our many wonderful memories.
