LANGILLE, IVAN THOMAS
Wednesday, February 25th 2015 there was a great joy on the Golden Shores as Ivan joined his parents and relatives and most of all son, Mark.
Ivan was a Mason for 58 years receiving a gold watch and card for being a union member for 50 years in 2010.
He was self-employed for 35 years, owning G&L Masonry. He was also a past member of the Thistle Saint Andrew’s and Carleton Curling Club.
Ivan is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bertha of Grand Bay-Westfield and his son; Stewart (Irene) of San Francisco. As well, grandchildren Sophie and Gabrielle of San Francisco and Drew Langille of Hammond River.
He is predeceased by his parents; Ethel (Pettigrew) and Wendell Langille as well, his son, Mark.
Ivan will be very well missed by his friends here and in Florida.
Ivan will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Sunday, March 1st 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2nd 2015 from the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations in memory of Ivan may be placed towards the Extra Mural Program, Grand Bay Baptist Church or the donor’s choice.
