ABELL, PHYLLIS
Phyllis Jean Abell of Perth-Andover passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on February 27, 2015. Phyllis was born in Tilley on March 12, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Nellie Swazey.
Phyllis leaves behind her daughter Aloma Pelkey of Perth-Andover; her sisters Donna Pelkey (Rufus) of Aroostook, Frances Whitmore of Caribou, ME; her brother Roy Swazey (Clara) of Wilkson, NY; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Gerald Abell; her grandson Ian Pelkey; her sister Alice Pelkey; brothers Herbert, Allison, Glen, and Jack Swazey.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 2 pm from Trinity Anglican Church. Rev. Robert Leblanc officiating. Interment will be in St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Medford, NB at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
