EAST, YVETTE
Yvette Mary (Arsenault) East peacefully passed away on February 28, 2015, at Bobby's hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Yvette was born on August 7, 1946 in Petit Riviere d’Isle, NB to the late Edmond and Christine (Chaisson) Arsenault.
Yvette spent her working career at the Loch Lomond Villa, as a nursing assistant. After retiring from the Villa, Yvette spent most of her time with family. Yvette enjoyed bowling, poker, watching Nascar, baseball and hockey. She was always offering a helpful hand to anyone in need. She was always there for her children and grandchildren as she was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother and cherished their visits.
Yvette is survived by her three daughters; Judy, Barbie and Christine of Saint John, NB and son Kevin of Saint John, NB. She is also survived by her five brothers; Hector, Claude, Denis, Laurent and George and six sisters; Anita, Mary-Ann, Doris, Rita, Yvonne and Esther. Yvette will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren; Jeremy, Jamie, Calvie, Natasha, Nathan and Cecilia along with her great granddaughter Saphia.
Along with parents, Yvette was predeceased by her brother Gerard.
Arrangements are under the professional care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd (646-2424). In keeping with Yvette’s wishes, there will be no visitations or funeral held. A graveside service will be held from Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Donations in memory of Yvette East may be placed to the Bobby's Hospice, the ALS society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
